Chicago Storm Pros, a service of C&N Construction, covers Cook, DuPage, Kane, Will, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and DeKalb counties from a permanent office in Hillside, Illinois. The storm damage inspection is free in every town below, there is no trip charge anywhere in the area, and the photo report is yours whether you hire us or not.
Each town below has its own page covering the local housing stock, the storms that have actually hit it, and what a claim tends to look like there. The roofing itself doesn't change from one suburb to the next, but the roofs do, and so does what an adjuster expects to see.

Don't See Your Town?
The list above is where we work most, not the edge of where we'll drive. If you're anywhere in those eight counties, call and ask, because the answer is usually yes and the inspection is free either way. If you're outside them, we'll say so instead of driving two hours and quietly building the mileage into your estimate.
What You Get in Every One of These Towns
The same thing, because a documented roof is a documented roof. A Haag-certified inspector walks every slope for about 45 minutes, you get a dated photo report that's yours to keep, and if there's claim-worthy damage we write the scope in the format your carrier's adjuster works in and stand on the roof with them when they inspect. That process is the Repairing Accuracy Method, and it doesn't vary by zip code.
What does vary is the roof. Hinsdale and Oak Park hold far more slate and cedar than the rest of the region, and both fail differently from asphalt. The Fox Valley towns have older river-adjacent housing next to new subdivisions. Woodridge and Naperville were built in runs, so hail tends to hit whole streets of identical roofs at once. Those differences are what the individual town pages are for.

Which Storms Hit Your Town?
We keep a running record of every NWS-confirmed severe event in the region, with the communities affected and the claim deadline that runs from each date. You can look up your own address on the storm map, read the full year in the 2026 Chicagoland Storm Report, or check how long you actually have to file before a claim window closes.
No-Risk Contract
You sign a contingency agreement. We don't start work until your insurance company approves the claim. If the claim doesn't go through, you don't owe us anything. No deposit. No cancellation fee. The contract doesn't screw anyone.
Your Budget, Your Call
If insurance approves less than the full scope we recommended, you decide what happens. You can spec down the project to match your payout exactly. Same materials. Same warranty. You won't pay for unapproved work unless you tell us to order it before the approval.
We Call You First
We don't silently revise your project to match whatever insurance approved. If there's a gap between our recommendation and the payout, we pick up the phone. We walk through the difference and help you keep out-of-pocket as low as possible. The only reasons you'd pay extra are to fix damaged lumber our crew needs to stand on or if you want to upgrade to luxury shingles.
