The Short Version
We collect what you type into the inspection form and nothing else that identifies you personally. That information goes to the C&N Construction scheduling team so somebody can call you back about your roof. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to lead brokers. Ask us to delete it and we will.
What We Collect
Information you give us. The inspection request form asks for your name, phone number, and property address, and optionally your email and a description of the damage. If you call or email instead, we have whatever you tell us in that conversation, along with any documents you send, such as an adjuster's estimate or a denial letter.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, this one loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics. That records the usual analytics signals: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the referring site or search engine. Our web server also writes standard access logs containing IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps.
Information from AI agents. When an AI assistant books an inspection through our MCP gateway on your behalf, it submits the same fields the form does. The gateway keeps the requesting IP address in memory for one hour purely to enforce a rate limit of five bookings per hour, and that record is never written to disk.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, your policy number, your bank details, or a payment card. Nothing on this site charges money, so no payment processor ever sees you. If a page or a caller claiming to be us asks for any of those things before an inspection, that is a sign something is wrong; call the office directly at (630) 414-9160 to verify.
How We Use It
- To call you back and schedule the roof inspection you asked for
- To perform the inspection, produce the photo report, and get it to you
- To assist with your insurance claim if you ask us to, which means sharing documentation with your carrier and adjuster at your direction
- To answer warranty questions and service an existing project
- In aggregate and without identifying you, to understand which guides people find useful
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, we do not build behavioral profiles, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
Who It Goes To
C&N Construction, Inc. Chicago Storm Pros is that company's storm restoration brand, so every lead goes to its scheduling and inspection team. That is the whole point of the form.
FormSubmit. Inspection requests are relayed through formsubmit.co, a third-party form-to-email service, which processes the submission and delivers it as email. It handles the message in transit and does not use it for its own purposes.
Google. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics receive the automatic analytics signals described above. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's font servers see your IP address when a page loads.
Your insurance carrier, but only if you ask us to help with a claim, and only the documentation that claim requires.
Nobody else. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with lead aggregators or other contractors, and we do not trade it for referrals. We will disclose information if a court order or law requires it, and we will say so unless legally barred from saying so.
How Long We Keep It
Inspection requests and the resulting inspection reports are kept as long as the business relationship lasts, plus the period Illinois law and the workmanship warranty require, because a warranty claim in year seven needs the original file to be answerable. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings. Server access logs rotate on a short cycle. Requests that never become an inspection are removed once they are clearly stale.
Your Choices
- Deletion. Email info@cnroofs.com or call (630) 414-9160 and ask us to delete your information. We will, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
- Access and correction. Ask and we will tell you what we have on file and fix anything wrong.
- Stop the calls. Tell whoever calls you, or email info@cnroofs.com. One request is enough; you should not have to repeat it.
- Analytics. Browser do-not-track settings, ad blockers, and Google's own opt-out tools all suppress the analytics tags on this site. Nothing on the site breaks when they are blocked.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The cookies you may see come from Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which use them to distinguish one visit from another. Blocking them costs you nothing here: there is no login, no cart, and no personalization to lose.
Text Messages And Calls
Submitting the form or asking an AI assistant to book on your behalf is a request for us to contact you about a roof inspection, by phone at the number you gave. It is not consent to marketing text blasts, and we do not run any. Standard carrier rates apply to any call or text between us.
Children
This site is for property owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted information here, email info@cnroofs.com and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to the lead inbox is limited to the people who schedule and perform inspections. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If you would rather not put your address in a web form, call (630) 414-9160 and give it to a person instead.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it and the previous version is superseded. There is no version of this page that quietly widens what we do with your information; a change that mattered would be described here in the same plain language.
