# Recent Storms for a Chicagoland Town

Storm events come from National Weather Service write-ups. Each carries its date,
severity, the communities listed for it and a source link. A one-year mark is a
reference point only; the homeowner's policy sets its own deadline to report a loss.

## Option 1: MCP server

- `get_recent_storm_events` (no arguments) returns every verified event with affected
  communities and the one-year mark.
- `check_roof_photo` with a `city` (and optional `county`, `date_of_loss`) returns the
  storms that reached that town's county in the last two years and the NOAA record.

Endpoint: `https://chicagostormpros.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, no auth).

## Option 2: A2A agent

`POST https://chicagostormpros.com/a2a`, `SendMessage`, text `recent storms in Naperville`
or data `{"skill":"recent-storms","town":"Naperville"}` (or `"county":"Cook"`). Add
`"date_of_loss":"YYYY-MM-DD"` to check a date against events and NOAA reports.

## Limits

Reports describe an area, not a roof. A storm in the list is not proof of damage to any
one home. Send a town name only, never a street address.
