# Hail History for a Town

Counts come from the NOAA NCEI Storm Events Database, hail and thunderstorm wind
reports within 5 miles of the town, 2010 to 2026. They are reports, not proof that
any particular roof was damaged.

## Option 1: A2A agent

`POST https://chicagostormpros.com/a2a`, `SendMessage`, text `hail history for Naperville`
or data `{"skill":"hail-history","town":"Naperville"}`. The reply gives hail reports,
reports at 1 inch or larger, the largest hail with its date, and wind reports, plus a
structured data part.

## Option 2: WebMCP (in-browser)

Pages register `get_hail_history` with a `town` argument.

## Option 3: MCP server

`check_roof_photo` with a `city` includes the town's NOAA record in its answer
(`https://chicagostormpros.com/mcp`). The gateway has no separate hail-history tool.

## Limits

Send a town name only. A date match supports a claim file but does not settle it; the
homeowner's inspection and policy do.
